1 month back I had bought a blood pressure machine from Omron. It was an automated machine model no. HEM- 8712 for Rs 2340.
It was working good for about 8-10 days but after that is when problems started.
At first the battery which was promised to have 1000 times battery life died out. I am a mild to moderate user so in 8-10 days there is no way I could have used so much!
Then the reading which is displayed on the monitor which previously used to last for 30 seconds now does not last for hardly a second making it difficult to note the reading!
Next I suddenly one day noticed that the pressure in the cuff is not rising beyond 60 and as soon as it reaches 60 it automatically deflates! I read the instruction manual and tried to troubleshoot the problem but nothing worked. This then started to happen in increasing frequency thus rendering the machine useless.
There customer service number either never rings and if it does luckily ring then no one picks it up!
Waste of money! Please try to avoid.
